The early bird tickets to next year’s much anticipated HebCelt festival, set in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis sold out in less than 24 hours.
The festival which is set to run over 13-16 July 2022 will see the event bounce back from what has been an extremely challenging time for all.
Festival Director, Caroline Maclennan said: “The team behind the event have been absolutely blown away by the support of our loyal audiences from home and afar.
“We think this demonstrates the appetite for events and festivals from audiences and in particular how much HebCelt was missed by our community.
“We continue to be grateful to all who support this festival, we do not underestimate the challenges that are in front of us but will seek to ensure we create an event fitting for our big celebration and indeed ensure it is carried off in a safe and enjoyable manner.”
Tickets were snapped up from eager festival goers from around the world, including from Germany, Australia, the USA, Hungary, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as the wider UK.
